Help! I've lost my stats. Is there any way to recover them?

Oh dear! 💔 Your statistics are stored in a cookie on your device, so they can disappear if you clear out your browser cache/history, or if the browser does this itself for whatever reason. One way to avoid this is seems to be to add wafflegame.net to your home screen. I hope that helps for the future!

We can restore your stats if:

1. You activated "supporter benefits" (i.e. supported Waffle, and put your email address into Waffle) before the stats were lost. This allows me to find out what your player ID was because it will have been associated with your email address. Or...
2. You have a note/screenshot of your player ID from before the loss. It's shown on at the bottom of the menu.

It is also helpful for us to know your current player ID. Please send us an email with your request and those details to [email protected]. If you do not have those details, I’m afraid we will be unable to restore your stats.

My streak keeps resetting to 1 every day?

This is most likely due to playing the game in a Private Browsing Mode or Incognito Tab in your browser. It’s worth knowing that many players have found themselves inadvertently playing their game in these modes since the release of iOS 26 Safari.

These special browser modes will remove all website data and cookies after you finish each session, which is why when you play the next day, it’s as if you’ve never played before (i.e, Played = 1, Streak = 1).

How can I transfer my statistics to a new device?

Waffle now has a Login feature. It is free to use, and you can sign up using your email, or via Google, Facebook or Apple.

Create the login account on the device which has your statistics first. Then, once your account is setup, simply login on your other device with the same details and your stats will be synced across.

Please note that today’s game progress is not kept in sync between devices, but the finished score is.

The login page can be found via the in-game menu.

Can I keep my statistics synchronised across multiple devices?

Yes! See above.

When does Waffle reset?

By default, Waffle resets at midnight GMT. This is so everyone around the world gets a fresh Waffle at the same time. But, there is an option to have it reset at midnight local time in the settings if you prefer.

What can I do if an advertisement is covering the game?

This should never happen, but in the rare case that it does, we would be very appreciative if you could you send a screenshot of it and let us know your player ID. Please send us a message on Facebook or Instagram, or email [email protected]. We can then report it, and get that pesky thing removed! We never want our ads to be obtrusive.
